Driver of the Month / Driver of the Year Program

In trucking, relationships are everything. When drivers build solid relationships with customers, work hard to come through for our operational teams or freight agents, and they adhere to the core values that have built our company, they become nominated for our Driver of the Month Award. This program includes a jacket and recognition amongst the fleet for a job well done. They also become eligible for our Driver of the Year Award that entitles the driver and their partner to attend our annual Symposium to enjoy a weekend of fun and a special ceremony to be recognized in front of company executives for their efforts.

“Personal Award Choice” Years of Service Program

As you celebrate your anniversary with Bennett, we want owner operators and drivers to know we appreciate their loyalty. The month of your anniversary for 1, 3, 5, 10 and every 5 years of service thereafter we send an honor kit which includes a personalized certificate and a gift to your home address. You then get to choose a reward from an online catalog of items that recognize your tenure with Bennett. The more years you’ve been here, the selection becomes greater! From jewelry to household items, sporting goods, electronics, tools and more. You are sure to find something for yourself or your family.

The President’s Million Mile Club

Originated in 1995 after our first drivers were reaching the remarkable threshold of a million miles driven, Marcia G. Taylor created the President’s Million Mile Club to show her deep gratitude to an elite fleet of men and women. With over 150 currently active members and over 15 drivers that have passed the two million mile threshold, the PMMC is a testament to our ideal that every driver who joins Bennett should one day retire with us. Military Veterans Sticker Program

Bennett is proud to have many US Military Veterans from all branches continuing to serve our country through driving a truck. In keeping with our Patriotism Core Value, Bennett routinely recognizes our veterans with programs throughout the year. One such program is the military veterans sticker we provide for drivers to display on their truck. It is a great way to show pride and allow our employees the opportunity to “Thank You for Your Service and Sacrifice” every single day.

Women in the Driver’s Seat Program

Women in the Driver’s Seat is a program created to recognize the many accomplishments of the women who drive Bennett’s success. The program comprises seasoned women across Bennett’s business units who flourish in their own businesses as one of our fleet owners, independent contractors, and or owner/operators. All women drivers who contract to Bennett are automatically enrolled in the program whose benefits include a membership to the Women in Trucking Association, special apparel, guest speakers and an annual Women Driver of Excellence Award.

Driver Appreciation Day and Partnership Summit

Bennett employees and agents do their best all year long to ensure that our drivers are appreciated. Once a year, we hold special events across the country to coincide with National Truck Driver Appreciation Week Bennett staff does cookouts, health fairs, giveaways and prizes to thank drivers for their service. The home office in McDonough also invites in partners and suppliers to present their latest offerings to our drivers at the Annual Partnership Summit the day prior.
